What is Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a safe and gentle scientific method of healing that recognises that all parts of the body, which include physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and are all interconnected and interdependent. It recognises that when disease exists in a person, then all these parts are affected to some degree regardless of where the presenting complaint lies.
The signs and symptoms that we experience are not the disease itself, rather, they represent the body’s best efforts to heal itself, and they are positive, adaptive responses to the various stresses of today’s lifestyle.
Homeopathic remedies do not suppress these symptoms, they actually stimulate the body’s own healing power to clear itself of any expressions of imbalance to complete the curative process.
The remedies used in Homeopathy are made from almost anything that can be found on planet Earth and beyond. Minerals and plants account for the majority of remedies available.
There are also remedies created from diseased tissues, poisons, insects, fish, birds and animals, as are intangible substances such as antimatter and radiation.
